This city is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Jacques-O'Bready, from any location in Sherbrooke. On the other hand, this city is not an especially convenient part of the Greater Sherbrooke metropolitan area for getting around by public transit. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from approximately 40 bus lines, and most houses are near a bus stop. Sherbrooke is not very convenient for walking because many daily needs are impractical to meet on foot.

Services

Families may consider it challenging for their schoolchildren to access high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Furthermore, there are only a few daycares and accordingly they can be a rather long walk away. With respect to eating, a portion of residents in Sherbrooke may have the option to buy groceries by walking in one of over 50 stores, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well.

Character

The character of Sherbrooke is exemplified by its relaxed environment.
