Cars are a great transportation option in UDistrict. Finding a place to park is quite easy, and most properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of Abbotsford is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically very close. Walking in this part of the city is not very popular, even though running common errands is easy on foot.
Services
It is very rarely possible for property owners in UDistrict to purchase groceries by walking. Nevertheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and therefore some staple foods is typically easy. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who value close by restaurants and cafes. With respect to education, primary schools and daycares are easy to walk to from anywhere in this area. However, there are no high schools in this part of the city.
Character
UDistrict is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of Abbotsford is quiet overall, as the streets are usually reasonably peaceful - however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, public green spaces are easy to get to since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit.
